Part 2: What is a permanent makeup?
Play Video
From a medical point of view, permanent makeup is the injection of a colouring substance (pigment) into the skin to a depth of 0.3-0.8 mm to the skin layer called papillary dermis.
From the perspective of the consumer of this service, permanent make-up is the ability to look good under all circumstances, with minimal effort and time.
How long will the permanent makeup last depends on:
- skin type - oily skin quickly removes pigment, dry retains longer
- pigment colour - the lighter the colour is, the less it holds;
- age - the older, the longer skin retains the pigment;
- Immunity - the better your immune system works, the faster the pigment is released;
- exposure to UV rays - the Sun and solarium destroy the permanent makeup, they also brighten the pigment
